It�s almost as though I woke up one day and said
�Today, I�m going to develop a line of baby skin care products.�
But, not really. It was more a chain of events that led up to this.
I was a working flight attendant of 14 years
with American Airlines when on Sept. 11,
2001 terrorists attacked the world trade
center and the pentagon, using two
of our airplanes. An unforgettable
day of terror, death
and massive destruction. A
day that touched every American,
and irrevocably changed our way of life. These
events had a profound effect on me as well, for after much soul searching, I resigned from American Airlines before the end of the year 2001.
During my flight attendant years, I had opened my own photography studio to feed my creative soul. I focused primarily on photographing babies and children, and on my days off from flying, I could be found almost anywhere� the beach, a park, a client�s or my own backyard taking pictures of their little ones. After quitting the Airlines, I needed to supplement my income so I offered a new service to my photography clients. I began a custom line of basic skin care for moms where she could put her child�s photo on a bottle of lotion. Due to its popularity, I decided to expand my goals by developing a line of skin care for babies. After all, I already had the cutest little Butt Naked baby images on my studio walls!
So, from there, I went to my computer and I researched� and researched� and researched� and eventually met with various Doctors, Chemists, Herbalists, Moms, Designers, Babies�etc. After a long haul, and financing it all completely myself 100%, I took Butt Naked baby to market in 2005.
Today, we are still meeting with Doctors, Chemists, Herbalists, Moms, Designers, Babies, Business Gurus, Retailers and Industry Leaders to stay educated with the needs of today�s families and to bring you only the best that Nature and Science together can provide.
I believe true happiness comes from within and finding something which brings one passion, is not something everyone in life is lucky enough to find. I am, for whatever reasons, one of the lucky ones. I have poured my heart & soul into what I do, and truly do love what I do. I wear it 72 hours a day. There are new challenges this business brings every minute, but my personal reward is in knowing that everyday, there are new Butt Naked babies being born, and hopefully, we have developed a line that�s suited perfectly just for them.
And just a little tid bit of info� the Original Unscented Butt Naked baby is me at the tender age of 6 months old.
